No one should be subject to harassment or violence of any kind in their work environment, whether it comes from the organization itself or from a supervisor or colleague.
Although in many provinces and territories there is legislation requiring organizations to establish policy with respect to harassment and violence prevention, such a requirement is neither common nor consistent with respect to not-for-profit or volunteer organizations.
The Air Cadet League believes strongly that a policy related to harassment and violence prevention will help the League create productive and respectful environments for its volunteers, employees, and cadets. This training package will help you understand the League's policy and procedures related to violence and harassment prevention.
This course is intended as a general discussion and information sharing area for members of the Air Cadet League of Canada's National League Members Recruitment, Training and Retention Committee (Members Committee).
